The World Bank Group: The role of the World Bank is to provide loans, policy and economic and technical advice and assistance and "knowledge sharing services" to poor and economically imperiled countries. World Trade Organization: The WTO is a global international organization that deals with the rules of trade between nations. It negotiates member trade agreements aimed at helping "producers of goods and services, exporters, and importers conduct their business."
